The Waterworks Bureau, Kawasaki City will start “the project for capacity bulding on taking measures against groundwater leaks in Makassar, Indonesia for the purpose of making better use of water resources” following the adoption of the JICA Partnership Program. To make better use of water resources, Kawasaki City will provide technical cooperation focusing on taking measures against groundwater leaks effective for reducing non-revenue water, improving personnel skills, and aiming to establish a system that sustains these activities.
